Tips to assist in making your storage easier.

Please feel free to utilise our trolleys, especially provided to make your life easier.

Ensure you make an inventory list before storing your precious items, this list needs to be kept in a safe place.

Pack your items in good reliable boxes which we have available to purchase from our in house store.

Ensure all boxes are clearly marked on all sides for easy identification.

When packing, plan your unit accordingly. If you are  going to need access to boxes regularly, ensure these are packed near the front of the unit and try and leave aisle space so you can get to your other items easily.

Please ensure all appliances are cleaned before storing and fridges and freezers need to be left open for ventilation.

Ensure you use the space provided efficiently and effectively, utilise drawer space of wardrobes and place a thick blanket on the floor and place the table upside down on top of the blanket so you can use this space to pack.

If furniture can be flat packed this will make your life easier, ensure you keep the assembly instructions in a safe place and keep all small screws and bolts in a small packet and bind this safely with the instruction manuals to the furniture.

Ensure all your precious and delicate items are packed correctly and secure with tissue paper and bubble wrap which we have available to purchase in store.

All mattresses must be stored correctly and according to the manufactures specifications.

Always use protective covers over your goods, to ensure their safekeeping.

No prohibited goods to be stored, common sense and laws determine what can be stored. If you are unsure please check.

Safety padlocks are available to purchase in our in house store.

The below are not permitted.

No Hazardous goods.
No Arms, ammunition, any form of explosives, radioactive or flammable liquid material.
No living plants and animals.
No perishables.
No illegal goods or substances.
No full or empty gas cylinders.
